Why Essential Oils?

Q:  Why essential oils?

A:  Your skin is the largest organ of your body. Essential oils can help oxygenate, heal, rejuvenate, and nourish your skin.

Essential oils are plant oils that have historically been used as medicine and possess numerous physical and emotional health benefits.

There are a number of synthetic oils available for a lower price than their all-natural counterparts, however, these man-made oils don’t have the same healing qualities or effects as those that are generated naturally. Scented or fragrance oils contain substances and chemicals that aren’t naturally derived from a plant. They not only lack the therapeutic and healing properties found in pure essential oils, they may be an irritant to the skin.

Aromatherapy is the inhalation of essential oils for improved physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Aromatherapy benefits are cleansing, purifying, uplifting. The topical benefits of essential oils are their antiseptic and antifungal properties.

When using Mount Sapos soap you get both the topical and inhalation benefits of aromatherapy.
